The work happens where your data already is
Manifest keeps the register on your Mac and your iPhone, and asks Apple's on-device models the questions. Studio seals, opens, edits and reads files on the machine in front of you. Neither product has an upload step you have to opt out of.

No account, unless the feature genuinely needs one
Studio needs none at all for personal use. Manifest needs one only if you choose the cloud workspace, and choosing the local one means we never receive anything: no telemetry, no diagnostics, nothing for us to lose or be compelled to hand over.

The limits are printed in the same size as the features
Manifest does not discover software on your machines. Studio's password ZIP uses a weak legacy scheme, and we say which of our own options it is. Both pages state what the product will not do next to what it will, because finding out afterwards is how people stop believing the rest.

The company
DePalo Consulting LLC
A working IT asset management practice, which is where Manifest came from: it is the job the company already does, productised. Starkive is the product line, not a product. On a site whose whole proposition is trust, who is selling it should be the easiest fact on the page to check.
